Memorial Day

On this eve of Memorial Day I find myself desiring to talk about the White Sox and their great start but I must put this on hold-but I am savoring it inspite of the world's problems.

I recently watched a Q/A session with our President Bush and their was a question from a reporter about the US 'losing' in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am amazed by the amount of death and grieved by the fact that he cannot see that violence is failure.

Amnesty International says that the US is a torturing nation, is this what we believe in?
